AboutMyPropertyTM shows people how their properties are assessed and taxes are impacted
MPAC’s AboutMyPropertyTM gives Ontarians access to data about their property assessments so that they can better understand them, ask questions and even challenge how they impact their property taxes.
Ontarians care about their property assessments because they are the basis for property tax bills, which for many are a significant expense. With AboutMyPropertyTM, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) makes it easier for Ontarians to access important data on how their property is assessed and to more easily submit and track requests for reconsideration if they have a concern about their assessment.
MPAC conducts impartial property assessments in Ontario that accurately reflect the market.The AboutMyPropertyTM online platform covers the entire province – that’s 5.5 million properties valued over 3 trillion dollars! It includes useful information on how property assessments work and market reports. It also features an interactive component which allows property owners to compare their property to others. In addition, MPAC gives owners secure online access to information it has on file about individual properties, as well as any related notices.

MPAC is responsible for assessing the value of all properties in Ontario. It is our job to provide impartial property assessments that accurately reflect the market. As a property owner, you have the right to request a review if you have a concern with your assessment. We’re here to help. You can visit impact mpac.ca and log into AboutMyPropertyTM to see the information we have on file for your property and compare it to others in your neighborhood. If after reviewing this information you have concerns about your assessment, you can file a request for reconsideration within the prescribed deadline free of charge through AboutMyPropertyTM. During the review, you may be able to provide new information or correct information that has played a part in the assessment. Following a request for reconsideration, you also have the option to file an appeal with the Assessment Review Board.
